Sashay

This is an outfit I wore a couple weeks ago when I went out to celebrate my friend Amber's birthday. I meant to wear this on Christmas Day to my grandmother's house, but had a hard time changing out of the pajama pants I'd been wearing all day so opted for those instead. Red tartan is one of those prints that needs to be worn a certain time of year--this feels too Christmasy to wear any other time. So when Amber wanted to go out for cocktails a few days after the holiday, I seized my chance to wear this dress before it starts to feel weird.
